ASEAN school games: Vietnam keeps 4th
(Cinet) –On the evening of July 04, 4th Asean School Games closed in Indonesia in a total of 60 medals. Vietnam ranks 4th position.

The closing ceremony closed by some impressive performances of the host country Indonesia. Saying a goodbye to Indonesia, Vietnam will host the Games 2013 in Hanoi capital.

Vietnam is placed fourth at the ongoing ASEAN School Games themed "Spirit, Friendship and Excellence", in the Indonesian province of East Java with 27 gold, 17 silver and 16 bronze medals. In particular, Pencak Silat gained some great achievements at the Game with a total of 12/17 medals. It is a success of Vietnam Pencak Silat in particular and Vietnam School Sports in general.Thailand has bagged 38 gold, 28 silver and 46 bronze medals to top the medal tally, followed by the hosts Indonesia with 33 golds, 33 silvers and 27 bronzes and Malaysia with 29 golds, 36 silvers and 33 bronzes. 

At the closing ceremony, Indonesia gave a flag for Vietnam, the host country of Asean School Games 2013.
