Teaching staff include of cadres and executives from Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Ha Long Bay management board, Province policemen, Department of Communication and Transportation, etc.

Students had opportunities to learn, practice the basic tourist knowledge, tourist security, sea traffic law, and practice fire regulations, rescue, reception on tourist ships. This course aimed to equip knowledge for sailors and improve workforce’s quality in tourism.

This class contains 10 sessions in the evening to make participants convenient, it plans to finish on 25 June with a final test. This activity started in 2003 and so far 20 classed have been held for more than 2.500 students – captains, sailors and waiters on tourist ships.
