Vietnam Week to be held in Germany, Belgium
Vietnam Culture Week 2010 will be held in Germany and Belgium in August and September respectively, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

 During the week, there will also be an exhibition introducing Vietnam’s land and people, cuisine and handicraft products. 

The week in Germany, which will be held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany on August 28-29, will include various activities such as Vietnamese films, a performance of traditional arts and a photography exhibition on Vietnamese people and culture. 

 

The event is part of the “German Year in Vietnam” and “Vietnamese Year in Germany” programme, which marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries. 

The Vietnam Cultural Week in Belgium will take place from September 1-4 with various special cultural and arts events.
