Ms. Geraldine Yeo – the director of ASEAN of STB said that, the number of visitors from Vietnam to Singa[ore continues to increase strongly, especially in the first six months of the year. According to the statistics that this agency provided, there have been over 113.000 Vietnamese people have toured Singapore, increasing by 28% compared to that of last year. For these results, Vietnam has become the 13th large tourist market of Singapore in the number of visitors and the market having the second growth rate after Malaysia.

According to Mr. Chang Chee Pey, STB will take use of the telecommunication channels and the modern  mass media to introduce the website www.yoursingapore.com. Marketing through the researching tool, mobile network, social network, and online commercial tourist trade to advertise the trademark "YourSingapore".
