HCM City: Honouring some traditional artisans
(Cinet) – Recently, Vietnam Folk Arts Association and HCM City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a recognizing ceremony for a title of a traditional artisan of Vietnam and honours a medal due to Vietnam Folk Arts title.

It is one of some essential activities in order to honour some talents for keeping and teaching a value and orientation about an art “ Don ca tai tu Nam Bo”.

At the ceremony, vice- manager of HCM City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Minh and a member of the Standing Board of Vietnam Folk Art Association Truong Thanh Hung honoured the recognizing ceremony for a title Vietnam folk arts and a medal for Vietnam Folk Arts for two artisans Le Khac Tung and Le Hoang Tan in fields of arts “ Don ca tai tu”.

Artisan Le Khac Tung and artisan Le Hoang Tan have marked some best achievements in fields of teaching the arts for the young. Besides, two artisans have contributed to some good achievements such as composing, building a campaign, opening the training class…

Up to now, HCM City reaches 13 artisans recognizing for a title of traditional artisan. It is a honouring title for some great contributions in fields of traditional culture and arts in HCM City and Vietnamese people in general.
