Musical festival to raise funds for charitable activities

The Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will held an outdoor musical festival called “LoteroFest 2007” on December 12 in the RMIT compound at 702 Nguyen Van Linh street, District No 7 in HCM City, said the consulate at a press conference.

The event will draw the participation of many famous artists in HCM City such as saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan, rock ban Microwave, Vietnam Idol Phuong Vi and others in café Acoustic.

Well-known DJs and foreign music bands including Blacksliders and Mojo Webb will also perform.

All proceeds collected from the show will be used to purchase educational equipment for a school in Tan Phu district, HCM City.
