(MOCST)- The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recognised the Tay Thien Mother Goddess worship in the northern province of Vinh Phuc as a national intangible cultural heritage.
The Hanoi People's Committee has announced a plan to award titles of 'People's Artisan' and 'Meritorious Artisan' in the field of intangible cultural heritage for the third time in 2021.
Vietnam has added 11 more cultural icons to the list of national intangible cultural heritage, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The dossiers on Xoe Thai dance and Cham pottery are being completed by the authorities for submission to the UNESCO in the near future.
